Basingstoke RFC is actively seeking new players of all abilities to join our many teams and support our 25/26 campaign.
We are an ambitious Level 7 Club, currently playing in Hampshire Counties 1 under the new RFU league restructuring. We field two Senior sides and a Vets group providing inclusive competitive rugby for all levels. Our Academy provide the future sustainability of the club and we are very proud of their success, with many of our colts having gone onto achieve County honours and play within the London Irish DPP programme.
We pride ourselves on developing players of all levels and experience. Our sessions are fully inclusive, challenging and fun. The outstanding coaching team work tirelessly to ensure every single player has - first and foremost, fun, but also receive dedicated 1-2-1 feedback and advice to promote their development.
We are extremely proud of our first-class facilities, our fully floodlit enclosed pitch with spectator stand, and newly extended and renovated club house, all of which complement our outstanding and highly qualified coaching team to ensure you will receive the very best coaching available.
Each player will receive a personal training plan, provided, monitored, and developed by our dedicated team of Sports & Conditioning Coaches. We believe players should be fit and healthy and therefore we invest many hours to support all players.
We are looking for new players of all abilities and ambition to develop and strengthen our teams through the club and enable us to be even more competitive at the higher levels that we aspire to in 2022-23 and beyond.
We are a forward-looking community rugby club, based on the heart of Basingstoke with an active playing and social side with excellent links with local Universities and Military sides.

Our current training sessions are: (Players require trainers and boots for all sessions due to conditioning programme).
Tuesday: 7pm - 9pm
Thursday: 7pm - 9pm
Saturdays: Match days
Additional strength and conditioning sessions are available after players have received their coaching plan and assessments.
