Welcome to the home of the Basingstoke Under 12’s Rugby Team - Boys in Year 7 at school
Basingstoke RFC is a fantastic place for any boy to start playing rugby. It is a great way to get your child running around and keeping fit and healthy, while having lots of FUN within a structured programme of training, games and competitions that will keep them excited but also build core rugby skills.
At this age, please note that this is a full contact sport.
We also focus on the core values of English Rugby - TEAMWORK, RESPECT, ENJOYMENT, DISCIPLINE, SPORTSMANSHIP.
As a group of qualified England RFU volunteer coaches, we promise a commitment to giving your children a great rugby experience and hopefully create a pathway for our rugby stars of the future.
Home training is on a Sunday morning from 9:45am to 12:00pm.
We are happy for new starters to come along for a couple of free taster sessions.
Some kit is required for matches and training and the child will need to wear a mouthguard.
