Welcome to the home of the Basingstoke Under 10’s Rugby Team - Boys and Girls in Year 5 at school
Basingstoke RFC is a great place for any boys or girls to start playing rugby. It is a fantastic way to get your children running around and keeping fit and healthy, whilst having lots of FUN whilst building their core rugby skills. It's also about creating an environment where the children start to understand the key values that rugby provides - Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, Sportsmanship (TREDS).
Our qualified England RFU volunteer coaches are committed to giving children a positive first rugby experience and create a pathway for our rugby stars of the future.
Training takes place at home on Sunday mornings from 10:00am to 11:30am. We also play home and away fixtures throughout the season.
New players of any ability are welcome. Come and try a session on our rugby pitch — your first two sessions are free. All you need to bring is a water bottle, a gum shield and a smile. Please register your child with the team manager before their first session. To play in our U10 team, your child should be in Year 5 at school and turning 10 during the next school year.
