This scheme is aimed to promote a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and help your no longer required technology find a second home. As a partner with Izador, the sale of each item will also generate some funds directly towards kit provision at our club, helping limit the impact of an increasingly consequential cost of living crisis.
How It Works
Club members donate their no longer required technology to a designated box in our clubhouse - whether that's an old phone, laptop, console or camera, we'll take it all. This technology is then evaluated, sold on and given a second life.
Why You Should Do It
The benefits behind the scheme are manifold - environmental, personal and it directly benefits your club.
This scheme promotes a recycling lifestyle, which is becoming ever more crucial as we're experiencing first hand the impact of sustained environmental damage. As a society, limiting our carbon footprint is vital to ensuring a bright future for generations to come.
On a more personal level, it gives you the opportunity to get that summer clear out done! If you've got tech that's just lying around you're not sure what to do with it, this gives you the opportunity to get that done and give you some much needed space in your homes.
Finally, this would help fund some much needed rugby kit at our club. Much of our kit isn't in working order, so to have the opportunity to replenish our stocks is crucial in order to give players of all ages the chance to succeed.
Please ensure any contributions to this scheme are technology in working order, and if the technology contains personal information, ensure it is wiped to factory settings before leaving it in one of our boxes.
