Welcome to the home of the Basingstoke Under 16’s Rugby Team for boys in Year 11 at school.
Basingstoke under 16s is a fantastic, welcoming team and we are always keen for new players to come and join us, from those that have played before to complete beginners.
We aim to develop a squad that loves the game, has fun and is safe on the pitch. We have created a strong team environment where we embed the TREDS ethos: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, Sportsmanship.
The coaching team are passionate about rugby and the kids. We have a mix of RFU qualified volunteer coaches and volunteer parents of team members.
We train on Wednesday nights. Training starts at 18:15 – 19:45 and we play games most Sundays either as part of our league and cup fixtures or friendlies with local teams.
