We Need You!!!
The Natwest RugbyForce Day is on the 22nd & 23rd June and we need some volunteers to undertake clubhouse improvements, general tidying up and decorating.
We have been granted £500 so far.
The Natwest RugbyForce weekend will be an essential part of the New Changing Room Project, concentrating on the changing facilities/showers which will be left from the existing build once the "new" changing rooms are completed. We will focus on the existing communal shower – we have already completed a privacy screen so that it can be used more readily by either gender teams, and our plan next summer is to completely re-tile the walls, clad the open pipework and install new shower heads and pneumatic on/off buttons to help us save water and lower our extortionate energy bills! We also want to turn our attention to the 4 changing rooms which will be left after the new build, to make them as good as they can be, renew the benches in all of them, add whiteboards for indoor/bad weather sessions, and replace the lighting with energy saving fittings. Also we want to paint the inside of the changing rooms
Other jobs include:
· Deep Clean kitchen
· Paint Seats/Benches
· Shelving in the shop
· Enlargement of the Hall serving hatch
· Renew carpet in Committee room and new office
If anyone thinks they can help with any of this, we would love to hear from you – if you can spare some time or help with materials or expertise, please let us know by mailing chair@basingstokerfc.com
