Basingstoke Heritage Society are currently investigating the WW2 building at Whiteditch, where BRFC used to play.

Now, this building may be of real historic interest, not just as a survivor from WW2 but possibly as a Gas Decontamination Unit. However, in spite of this likelihood, there is now talk of it being a Cold War survivor.

They think it is older than that and we are hoping that some of our older members, who played there and used the building for changing etc might have memories of it from that time.

Any memories would be most welcome, Please use the below contact details to share your memories.
