After 2 years of Covid which wiped out our last two End of Season celebrations, it was wonderful to be together again last Friday 13th May, crammed into our clubhouse hall packed with even more players than last year, and sharing this special evening with these two incredible ladies, England Internationals and 6 Nations Champions Poppy Cleall and Marlie Packer, fresh from smashing the International circuit and showing us all that everything is possible.

Thank you to all our girls for always working hard and doing your absolute best. As your coaches we want you to always know that “your best” is always enough for us, whatever the outcomes. We are privileged to watch you girls learn what it is to have a group of friends around you, who have always got your back; a privilege to watch you transform into decision-makers, fast, smart thinkers and solution-finders; a joy to see our whole squad (73 of you) of tough, hard-working, courageous, resilient rugby players. Hold your head up, attack and defend the precious things in your life the way you do on the pitch, and you will all be successful, no matter what you do. We are very proud of you all, and you should always be very proud of yourselves.

Thanks to Cel @Globalkitchen for the amazing food, our Chairman James Jagged for slaving over the BBQ, to the entire girls coaching team for their incredible commitment:

Russell Amos

Simon Hall

Martin Hodges

Toby Warburton

Tim Warburton

Renny Smith

Jonathan Scott

Andrew Smith

Mark Lewis

And, of course, me

Michele Amos

Lastly thanks and humbled by the extraordinary and wonderful feedback from players and their parents, we really appreciate it and makes the hard work so worthwhile. Everyone is looking forward to Summer Training which starts on Sunday 5th June at 1pm, and then continuing our journey in September 😍
